I have a Accu Chek Nano and its great. I can't believe how expensive they are in NZ. I bought mine on holiday in the UK for 15 pounds - it wasn't even a pound more than the regular Accu Chek meter. When I got here I found the Accu Chek meters are different but rang and they kindly said they would trade in my meter for the NZ Accu Chek Nano.

I had lost my old Optium (not the Xceed, my ones about 6 years old) on the plane on the way to the UK. When I got there I bought the Accu Chek Nano is heaps nicer.

Can anyone compare the Accu Chek Nano to the Freestyle Lite?
Is the Freestyle Lite a lot bigger?
It sounds great that the Freestyle lite lights up the test strip as well as the back light for testing at night. It also sounds great that it uses half the sample size!

My very old Optium used heaps more blood than my new Accu Chek Nano and the Freestyle lite uses half the sample size the Accu chek Nano uses!

I rang to see if I could swap my old spare Optium meter for a Freestyle Lite so I could try it but not luck, I would like to know more before spending money on it as I have only read about it - not even seen one apart from pictures.
