Hi all
Just for those of you who want to find all the posts I did on pregnancy with type 1 diabetes in one place, here you go:
1. Confessions of a pregnant diabetic
2. Things I’ve learnt about having T1 and being pregnant
3. Double trouble – being both pregnant and a T1
5. Increasing insulin resistance
6. 28 weeks and baby on the large side
7. 34 weeks
8. 36 weeks and admitted to hospital
9. Birth story
11. Post natal – the Mama diaries
To those of you starting your pregnancy journey or midway through it with T1 – all the best! If I can do it, so can you. Kia kaha.
Nic
PS – I hate those cheesy pics of women standing side on with a ridiculous “aren’t I clever” look on their face with their bellies sticking out… but here’s one I took for posterity at six and a half months, with my head chopped off in post production (I was actually wearing a Mexican wrestling mask at the time – believe that if you will)
PPS – whoever it was who said horizontal stripes are not flattering was telling the truth.
